What is Transgender hair transplants?
While there are several different types of hair transplants for patients undergoing gender affirmation, the majority of our work is in feminizing a traditionally male hairline.
And depending on when hormone blockers were started…the patient may have just a little male pattern baldness OR a lot. Either way, we address the hairline and frame the face first. Having also done over 4000 facelifts.
Dr. Lindsey generally suggests the hairline be placed using the rule of thirds, and then “negotiating” on hairline design from there.
These results are amongst the most dramatic and most gratifying for both the patient and our team.
